- The driver allowance for every day is INR 250.
- AC won't work in hilly areas.
- Your pick-up and drop-off points will be the same.
- Kindly do not ask the driver to drive past the speed limit, go on narrow streets, or in No-Entry zones.

The total road distance between Dehradun and Yamunotri is 180 km plus a 6 km trek. Here are the ways via which you can reach the sacred Dham:
By Plane
If you're coming from a city like Delhi, Mumbai, etc., you can first get a flight to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. From there, you can take a taxi to Janki Chatti, beyond which there's trekking.
By Helicopter
You can take a heli ride from Sahastradhara Helipad to Kharsali, which is very close to Janaki Chatti. From there, on 5 km trek lies to the temple. The tickets cost around INR 6,000 - INR 8,500 per person.
By Bus
Both government and private buses run from Dehradun to Barkot (130 km), such as ISBT Dehradun. It takes 5-6 hours with a fare of INR 200-400. From Barkot, you can take minibuses to Janaki Chatti (50 km), which takes about 1-2 hours. From there on, you can avail a Pony/Palki/Dolly/Mule.
By Car
You can drive up to Janaki Chatti. You can also hire taxis for this route. The journey takes around 8-10 hours.
