Advantages of a Car Rental?
There are many perks of getting a personal chauffeur, such as:
- You can enjoy a comfy, private tour in your car, as opposed to public transport like buses, which are crowded and don't allow much personal space.
- You get to relish a relaxed, stress-free ride while your professional driver handles the long driving hours.
- You also don't have to take care of the fuel and vehicle maintenance charges.
- Add as many or as few stopovers as you want. You can also pause for a sightseeing tour and pick the restaurants of your choice. You won't find this flexibility with other transport options.
- You don't need to stress about the tough mountain roads or think about which route is the best. Your professional driver will handle it all!
Gangotri Significance
Gangotri is a pious Dham, located among the snow-clad Himalayas. It's believed that taking a dip in Ganges cleanses one's soul and purifies their Karma.
As per the legend, King Bhagiratha underwent intense penance to bring Goddess Ganga into this world. He wanted salvation for his ancestors' souls. When she finally agreed to descend here, Lord Shiva held the flow of the mighty river in his hair before the water reached the ground. Now, the river is famous for cleansing people's sins!
